Overview

Increasingly congested skies demand a datalink system with good management of two-way air-to-ground communications. The Universal Avionics UniLink UL-800 and UL-801 Communication Management Unit (CMU) provides superior operations and control of digital communications between the pilot and Air Traffic Controller in the exceedingly complex Communication, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS) Air Traffic Management (ATM) environment. Developed in full compliance with DO-178B Level C guidelines and FANS 1/A standards, UniLink will accommodate the expansion of datalink services into more streamlined applications of airline and air traffic operations such as CPDLC and ADS-C.
