ADELIS provides Air Navigation Service Providers with full control over the provision of ATN / VDL Mode 2 services enabling CPDLC communications in their airspace through a proprietary infrastructure. It includes high-quality aeronautical VHF radio equipment, VDL Mode 2 subnetwork and ATN networking systems that are interoperable with existing avionics and ground infrastructures..
■ Gives ANSPs full control over datalink provision in whole or part of their airspace
■ Optimizes spectrum capacity and improves network performance while reducing costs
■ Smoothly integrates with legacy networks and ATC systems
■ Provides support for multi-frequency (Model C/D compatible)
■ Allows ANSPs to offer added-value infrastructure services to airlines and service providers
■ Supports multiple GSIF implementations: no need for aircraft retrofits
An all-inclusive ground datalink infrastructure
ADELIS is a turn-key ground infrastructure solution that relies on a scalable VDL M2 ground stations network adapting to any airspace size or configuration. Multi-frequency operations are managed by a Centralized VDL Mode 2 Management Entity (C-VME) implementing efficient load-balancing mechanisms for an optimized use of the spectrum and network capacity.
It includes ATN air-ground and ground-ground routers as well as an ACARS processor offering, respectively, an IP SNDCF interface and an ARINC 620 / BATAP-MATIP interface with customer ANSPs network infrastructure and ATC systems. Traffic is routed from/to neighbour ANSPs as well as airlines operations centers via an interconnection with legacy CSP networks allowing cross-border ATC communications and seamless airline operations through.
ADELIS comes along with sophisticated performance monitoring and network management functions improving network operations efficiency and quality of the end-to-end service. It also includes recording, billing and reporting functions.
